What are photograms?
A photogram is a photographic image made without a camera. You place objects directly onto the surface of a light-sensitive photographic paper and then expose it to light. You only need to expose the objects for a few seconds. You put the the paper into developer then the fix then wash in water. The result is a negative image that shows different tones depending upon the transparency of (how see through) the objects used. Man Ray called these rayographs.
